Kotak Mahindra Bank launchesKushalta Ka Nirman- a CSR project to skill development in Gujarat
Mumbai, 26May 2023: Under Kotak Mahindra Bank’s (“KMBL” / “Bank”) Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, the Bank in association with Shroffs Foundation Trust (SFT) has launchedKushaltaKa Nirman– aCSR Project for skill development in Gujarat.The Bank’sCSRproject,will be implemented by SFTwith aimtoimprove livelihoodand employability for the youths from tribal, rural and other marginalized communities in Gujarat and surrounding areas.
Through this CSR project, KMBLendeavours to addressa skill gap in the construction industry. SFTwill train youth inconstruction equipment to becomeBackhoe and Forklift operators, supporting their career advancement and creating better job opportunities.

TheKushalta Ka Nirmanprojectaims to train over 100 individualsin Backhoe and Forklift Operator. Using the National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF), the comprehensive training program will also include AV tools, Simulator, Classroom sessions and practical operations to equip individualsin future infrastructure related projects.

Shroffs Foundation Trust (SFT) – registered as a non-profit organization in 1980 under Bombay Public Trust Act 1950 and serves through integration of development of human & natural resources at village level.
