operations in India and today announced launch new healthcare facilities in
Telugu States of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

Chennai, February 19th, 2020:Medicover Global, a leading healthcare and diagnostic services provider from Europe, launched a 250-beds hospital in Nellore. The Groupwill further expand its operations in the coastal town with setting up of “Medicover Oncology Institute”(MOI), a 100-beds cancer cure facility. Present on the occasion were Mr. Fredrik Ragmark, CEO, Medicover Global; Mr. Joe Ryan, CFO, Medicover Global; Mr. John Stubbington, COO-Healthcare Services, Medicover Global; andDr. Anil Krishna, Chairman, Medicover India.

India has emerged as a focal point to MedicoverGlobal’s international business and will continue to invest into this fast-growing market. The Group has to date invested Rs 700 crore in the form of debt and equity; and has committed another Rs 300 crore towards upcoming projects, including MOI facility in Nellore.

Speaking to media at the inauguration of the Medicover Hospital in Nellore, Mr. Fredrik Ragmark, CEO, Medicover Global said, “India is the land of great opportunities! Medicover currently operates in Hyderabad, Kurnool, Visakhapatnam, in addition to Nellore. The Group is in talks to acquire a 500-beds hospital in Hyderabad; and is in the process of adding another 500-beds in Andhra Pradesh, by setting up a 200-beds unit in Visakhapatnam, and a 300-beds facility in Srikakulam.
