Chennai, 17th February, 2020:Medimix, world’s largest selling handmade soap celebrated its Golden Jubilee in all its grandeur and adoration at Chennai Trade Centre in the presence of Mr.A.V.Anoop, Managing Director AVA Group, Mr.PradeepCholayil, Managing Director, Cholayil Pvt. Ltd., family members, employees and associates.
AVA Group and Cholayil Pvt. Ltd. jointly celebrated the completion of 50 glorious years of Medimix. The event witnessed performances by renowned singers – P Susheela and Unni Menon, dance performances by – Vineeth& Team, and Rack Academy, a musical Stand Up Comedy by Alex in Wonderland and show stopper performance by Ability Unlimited.

Medimix originated in 1969 in Chennai when Dr. V.P. Sidhan, who was a doctor with the Indian Railways, began making soap to treat skin ailments in railway workers. Till the 1990s, Medimix had only one product – Medimix Classic. Over the years the brand has extended into Glycerin and Sandal variants in soap category, apart from Handwash. Medimix is purely herbal, with a combination of 18 unique herbs.
