Columbia Pacific Communities hosts acclaimed poet and lawyer Pamarty Venkataramana in the 27th edition of #TheLivingRoom!
The Living Room virtual session will be focusing on the interconnection between poetry, spirituality and positive ageing.
Bangalore, February 25, 2021: Columbia Pacific Communities, India’s largest senior living community operator, will be hosting an FB Live session with celebrated poet and author and acclaimed international lawyer Advocate Pamarty Venkataramana, this Friday.
Almost as famous for his mettle for the literary word as much as for his courtroom oration, Pamarty will be gracing the 27th edition of #TheLivingRoom, a Columbia Pacific Communities initiative, where he will exchange ideas and experiences with senior residents on the importance of poetry and spirituality on positive aging.
In addition to being a leading corporate lawyer of international repute, Pamarty is a respected thinker and prolific columnist. He made his mark in the literary world with three published books of poetry in English (In a Blink, Chasing a Shadow, and A Master’s Piece) and a book of short stories (A Whispering Star). His forthcoming works include X-raying the Mahatma and a book of essays on a New India (Canada) which are planned for release later this year.
Pamarty has been conferred with coveted titles including the Ambassador of Peace and Prophet of New Age Poetry and has been recognized with prestigious awards including the Alladi Kupuswamy Memorial National Award for the Best Young Lawyer, Edward Kennedy Memorial International Award for lifetime contribution in the fields of law and medicine and for mentoring path-breaking research in greenfield technologies including green energy.
The session will focus upon the intricate connection between poetry and spirituality and their influences on human communities and living. Columbia Pacific Communities has championed the cause of positive aging with many of its previous campaigns and espouses the concept of community living in India.
