VELAMMAL EXCELS IN THROWBALL
The Girls Throwball Dream Team of Velammal Main School, Mogappair Campus represented Thiruvallur District in the 19th Senior State Throwball Championship for girls clinched the Gold Medal in the open category held at Syed Ammal Engineering College in Ramanathapuram District held between 12th and 14th December, 2021.
12 girls from Velammal main school who represented Thiruvallur district emerged victorious defeating Chennai district with scores 15-6, 15-8 in the finals.
This State Level event was organised under the auspices of Ramanathapuram Throwball Association, wherein 28 teams from various districts across the state participated.
