World Kidney Day 2025: Apollo Dialysis Clinic runs awareness campaign to educate public about kidney health and importance of early detection

Chennai, March 13th, 2025: On the occasion of World Kidney Day, Apollo Dialysis Clinics organized a series of awareness activities, camps, health talks, and CSR initiatives to promote the cause of early detection and kidney health protection. Aligned with this year’s theme, “Are Your Kidneys, OK? Detect Early, Protect Kidney Health,” these initiatives aimed to educate the public on the importance of preventive kidney care and early diagnosis of kidney diseases. The chain of events was organized at different locations in Tamil Nādu and through various medium.
Featuring educational interactive health talks by leading nephrologists, the brand highlighted the risk factors, early warning signs, and the significance of routine kidney function tests. Emphasizing the role of diet in Chronic Kindly Disease (CKD) patients, Dietitians and other medical officers also provided insights into maintaining a kidney-friendly lifestyle habits.
To encourage, testing and early detection, the health camps offered free kidney function, urea & creatinine test to attendees, highlighting the need of timely diagnosis of potential issues. Speaking on the occasion senior Nephrologist at Apollo Dialysis Clinics, stated: “With the rising prevalence of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), it is essential to raise awareness about early detection and preventive measures. Through our World Kidney Day initiatives, we aim to empower people with the knowledge and resources to safeguard their kidney health.”
