
ENNA VILAI WINS BEST CINEMATOGRAPHY AT ATLANTA INDIAN FILM FESTIVAL
Atlanta, USA: Tamil feature film Enna Vilai has won the Best Cinematography Award at the Atlanta Indian Film Festival (AIFF) for cinematographer Alby Antony.
Presented at the festival ceremony on October 3, the award was accepted by producer Anugopal Venugopalan on Antony’s behalf.
Directed by National award winner Sajeev Pazhoor, Enna Vilai stars Karunaas and Nimisha Sajayan. Set in coastal Rameswaram, the film follows a fisherman whose life takes an unexpected turn, exploring justice, dignity and resilience.
The award adds to the film’s international festival journey and marks a significant milestone for Kalamaya Cineverse in taking Tamil Cinema to the world.
“Receiving the Best Cinematography Award at the Atlanta Indian Film Festival is an incredibly humbling and proud moment for me. Enna Vilai is deeply rooted in its landscape and characters, and it was a privilege to translate that world into images.
