Aadira grabs all attention at Arangetram
 
Chennai, January 25, 2022:
 
Aadira Prakash won the appreciation of dance experts, critics and audience at her Bharatanatyam Arangetram held in Vani Mahal in Chennai recently.  
 
The young girl, a student of Mritya’s Academy, performed like a pro in her maiden show itself. The event was presided over by Padmashri Dr. Narthaki Nataraj (Member of State Planning Commission), Kalaimamani Smt Rekha (Film Actress), Swamimalai K. Suresh (Director of Samarpana Academy of Fine Arts).

Granddaughter of acclaimed lyricist and screenwriter M G Vallabhan, Aadira performed seven dance items starting including Pushpanjali, Shanmuga Kauthuvam, Jatiswaram, Siva Padam, Varnam, Krishna Padam and Thillana. She did it very gracefully with a beautiful smile throughout and her expressions were fantastic.
 
She was trained by Shri N Senthil Kumar, Smt. Padmavathy and Smt. Mythili. Dance is her passion and has trained since she was seven. She was titled as ‘Mritya Kala Narthaki’.
 
Appreciating her performance, actress Rekha said, “It was a pleasure to watch Aadira dancing elegantly with so much confidence. This shows how well and passionately she learnt Bharatanatyam.”
 
Dr. Narthaki Nataraj said, “Aadira’s name signifies Lord Siva’s star Thiruvathira. She danced effortlessly without being bothered about applauses and surrounding. She was fully involved in her dance movements in perfect grammar.”
