‘Abhyudaya 2022’ IFMR GSB at Krea University’s flagship cultural fest is all set to host speakers from the OTT world!
A two-day conclave for management students from all over the country, Abhyudaya 2022 is all set to explore the world of OTT/Web Series this year
February 26, 2022 | Chennai : The IFMR Graduate School of Business (IFMR GSB) at Krea University is all set to host its annual cultural event ‘Abhyudaya’ on 26 & 27 February 2022. This year’s theme is a homage to the streaming world of today, with a focus on Over-The-Top (OTT) and web series platforms.
Catering to management students from all over the country, this cultural fest has an excellent line-up of personalities from the entertainment world. Award-winning director Gautham Vasudev Menon will be the Chief Guest on the first day of the event. An auteur known for critically acclaimed films such as Minnale, Kaakha Kaakha, Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa, and Navarasa will talk about mainstream cinema in the OTT space, writing scripts for the audience of today, and deep-dive into his filmmaking styles.
Abhyudaya’ 22 will also feature a stellar performance by singer Madhur Sharma and a laugh-out-loud standup session with comedian Harsh Gujral. ‘Krea Talks’, an initiative to engage with multifaceted personalities, will feature inspiring talks delivered by academic and entrepreneur, Dr Rakesh Godhwani as well as actress and storyteller, Janaki Sabesh.
Participants hailing from top management institutes such as IIM, FMS, XLRI, SP Jain, SIBM, LIBA, MDI et al, are given the opportunity to showcase their talent in different categories and competitions in this two-day fest. Much like the last two years, this year, too, the fest will take place online comprising 15 events (9 management and 6 cultural events) with B-School students from all over the country vying for cash prizes worth INR 3.5 Lakhs.
