VELAMMAL EXCELS IN CHESS

Master Mithun Pranav, Std 2 of Velammal Main School, Mogappair Campus has made an incredible win in the Under 1150 category in the 3rd Sunday Rapid Rated Chess Tournament -2022 by bagging the First Prize, held on 20th March, 2022.

This FIDE Rapid Championship was conducted on board from 2:15 PM Singapore Time. Time control for the players was 20 mins for 7 rounds swiss.

The championship was organised by Asean Chess Academy which saw a varied mix of top rated and upcoming players.
