GrandMaster V PRANAV, Class 12 of Velammal Vidyalaya, Mel Ayanambakkam has achieved the coveted Runner-up title with a cash award of 2,400 Euro and Trophy at the Menorca Open 2023 held in Menorca, Spain recently.
His incredible performance fetched him a tie for the 1st place with 7/9 points for 5 wins & 4 draws with a splendid FIDE ELO rating of 2746 points.
This Menorca format is a nine-round Swiss tournament wherein varied mix of top rated and upcoming players across the globe participated.
